Lottery Win !!!
#1
Not me unfortunately!
Apparently the dad of the receptionist where I work just won 5 million pounds in the lottery last night. (He shared the 10 million jackpot with one other).
The question is - what would you do with 5 million?
Retire?
New cars?
New house?
Find your boss and thump him?
Get that island in the sun that you've had your eye on? (well maybe not)

In this order
Tell the wife about the win.
Tell her to pack her bags.
After the initial question, "where are we going honey" I don't know where your going but I'm going to Australia.
Land in Perth, buy Skyline.
Hit the skimpys bars in Kalgoorlie.
After a few weeks debauchery in Hay street hit Perth again and buy house.
Pool ,
Good looking maid,
another car,
a few blocks of VB beer,
Invite all the Irish ex pats(paddys)for a pi55 up (should last about a year).
Re-mortgage house for the price of a flight home.

Diggy,it's a rockin place Kal. I was there in 98 for a wedding of all things. Went for a month in November and also did the run to Esperance, did you ever see beaches like that before. Pure white sand and nobody on them. Only problem is the flies, little b****rds, you don't even know that theres a half a dozen crawling up your nose. Also stayed in Perth for a week or so, beautiful city. It is so clean and safe. The only thing to change about Kal since it was built in the 1800s is that instead of tying up a horse outside the saloon it's now a Harley. I went back there for Christmas 1999 and took in the millenium and spent about a week in Kal and the rest in Perth. I got married in Kings Park in Perth on the 28th December and **** was it hot. It was the hottest December since 1928!!
Kal is still the same, a city on the edge waiting to explode but you cant help loving it.
By the way my brother in law works in the superpit also. He drives a 300 ton truck and boy would it take a scooby on the corners. That pit has to be one of the biggest holes I have ever seen, except for the ones in Hay Street
Cheers
Alan

What would I do?
New big house,
more Weimaraners, hence the need for big house.
New STi Wagon, for road use, totatlly upgrade the blackbeast to full on track spec, eg; six pots up front, 18 inch wheels, Leda suspension, Link, etc, etc, in other words, all the mods I can!! oh, bellof HID lights all round!
retire, and try and buy as much track time as possible.
Oh, and hire out a track for my birthday and invite the scoobynet/SIDC/22b people along, to have a jolly good day (maybe all free of charge! then again, maybe not!)

That bitch!
I work at the same place as AWD - hte sweetheart actually booked today off, so that she could go with pop to pick up the cheque. I wouldn't have bothered booking the day off, I'd have assumed they'd know why I wasn't at work.
Isn't it time this message went where all AWD's contributions belong - you muppet!

This should help
Sunshine continues tommorow, clear tonight with frost in the morning. The high 10 degrees C, just below freezing tonight.
That's all from me, have a very good evening.
