I have a strategically positioned desk.

I can see people coming towards me and they cant see my screen
gives me time to do the legendary alt + tab manouvre

Cool

Easy....

1) Make computer games for a living
2) Be a manager so get everyone else to do the work
3) Sit down and play game
4) Spend all other time on Scoobynet or driving Scoob!

Eye fank ewe......

Cell

can i recommend the advanced users ALT F4 manouevre that, not only clears SN, but also removes it from the task bar!! The drawback is it closes the window but then you can waste vital minutes retracing your footsteps when the danger has passed

this advanced skiving tip was brought to you by jjones

Well when u work in an ISP NOC - browsing scoobynet or any other website for that matter is classed as part of the job. How I wish it were the old days when our job contract had a disclaimer saying we were allowed to look at websites containing offensive material. This was due to monitoring a proxy servers effectiveness at stopping a large oil companies employees browsing all the **** sites

Simon.

P.S. Another perk is getting to watch Sky Digital 24*7!

Skive tip #2

If you've got a Microsoft mouse with the side buttons, map one of those to minimize so when danger approaches once click and SN is minimized down out of sight.
