What happened to the scoobynet cd?

Archives plus other footage from a couple of events.
There was a 'Scooby vs Challenger' day at Bruntingthorpe last Feb/March time.
About 10 Scoobs round a handling circuit and quarter mile runs against EVO magazines Ferrari 355. Was a great day - still looking forward to seeing the finished article on the CD.......

Haven't you been off travelling the world since we did the Scoob v Ferrari day Gussie? I guess it must be over a year since we did it.
Another world record attempt by SDB in the offing here - most eagerly awaited CD!

Hi All
Apologies, the delay has been trying to get all the small extra goodies ready, like lots of video clips, etc which has proved far more difficult than expected (for a number of reasons).
I think the best option would be for us to put the CD together as it is..
This will include the original scoobynet archives, kindly compiled by IGratton, including full searching, etc. The scooby vs challenger articles (which is a cracker!), an article on tyre dynamics and some video clips of scoobies being abused by a fat bloke at places like bruntingthorpe in the snow, etc. I think there are a couple of other good pieces which I can't think of right now.
This will take a few weeks to organise as I'm out of the country for the majority of the time.
The other option (as has always been offered) is for you to email us at sales@scoobynet.co.uk and we will refund you immediately.
Apologies again, I hate the fact that this didn't materialise on time and that it has dragged on so long.
Best regards
Simon

You folks wouldn't believe how much effort is involved in producing a CD rom of this scale
I have written some very clever software which transforms the 'entire' bbs into a single compressed 50mb windows help file, fully searchable, all smilies and hyperlinks retained etc. Its very similar to the technology Microsoft use to distribute the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) libraries to its customers.
I'm sure the CD will find its way out out. It will be worth the wait. All your posts captured for eternity
As for some bloke who seems to have difficulties keeping a car in a straight line - I've tried teaching simon to drive straight numerous times but he just can't do it
regards

Yep - I went off on my travels, putting the Scoob in the garage for temporary retirement.......
Now I'm back, the Scoobs back, I'm back on Scoobynet (after a long break) and looking forward to the CD as it is.
Can't wait to see all that footage of the Ferrari again. Hearing that 355 floored all the way up the quarter mile....... sends shivers down my spine!
