Default Are Subaru doing deals on PPP for Hawkeyes?

Just read in some posts SUK are doing deals on PPP. I know they're doing half price on new STIs but are they doing similar deals for older models?

If anyone in the know, err, knows, please speak!

Looks like that's RRP so I guess I'll have to ask at the dealers.

Unless you have an extended warranty, I'd go for an aftermarket decat and Ecutek remap. I've had 2 PPP cars. The Ecutek remap and decat is in a different league, fuel consumption is around 10 to 15% better too. Around £1500 with guaranteed results

I plan to give the car back in 2 years though and the warranty is not up until next April so an aftermarket is tempting but not my no1 choice.

i bought my car back in Nov. and negotiated the ppp for an extra £750 on the asking price + 1yr ext warranty, went armed to the dealers though with printouts of the best subaru dealership prices nationwide- they matched the best price basically, but my car had 5k less on the clock, oh and i got a full tank of juice as well.

i think ppp is a waste of money, i would take it for a real map rather than a bolt on, better power, fuel econ, cheaper etc etc

each to their own really, but if you are getting warranty then ppp is covered under warranty whereas independant maps etc. are not. i agree though ppp figures dont really compare, all generic. when my warranty runs out i will be getting full decat and remap. but tbh the question was are subaru doing ppp deals on hawkeyes, so opinions should really take a back seat. so ved yes they are to my knowledge but that was buying a car as well!!

Thanks mate (nice to get back on topic). I've sent an email into a dealer so maybe I'll get something back. I'm not in any hurry and fancy some suspension stuff first with springs and a RARB. PD Springs might be a good move

I;ve had two cars both under 3 years old and never had any problems getting stuff sorted that wasn't right, my stealer even told me to book it in 2 weeks before the first mot was due so that if there was any probs the warranty would sort them.
Most recently i had two new front wheels coz they had started to pit on the paintwork, which i think was mainly due to the original owner not cleaning them regular.
That was a surprise to be fair!!!

i mentioned that there was a squeeking developing over speedbumps after a couple of months of ownership. they changed the rear shocks "just in case" no problem, without even checking!

this year tho, due to bad car sales and lots of issues with the new cars they are being real pain in the ***

Have you asked your dealer if they are ok with warranty on a re mapped car, just having a re map does no kill all of the warranty. My dealer have always be fine with me getting RCM to do work to the car ? just Subaru uk being a pain. New 330 sti no thanks.

i have 3 year warranty and lost it after the first 1000 miles after i started putting full 3" decat turbo back with up pipe and intercooler and air intake stuff that warrenty if u want more npower go for it dont waste money on a stupid ppp kit when for same money you can get far better results and more torque plus sounds better than a ppp kit

Bearing in mind you could just remap your current car as it is. PPP brings little to the party in terms of parts so you are effectively just getting a new approved conservative remap.
