Default v7 sti internals

what sort of power will the standard internals take before they are on the brink of disaster ie bhp with torque

You should be ok to run an MD321T, but you will not be able to push the turbo to its limit.

my 2004 sti is currently running in excess of 450bhp on standard internal.

the v7 and v8 internals are identical as far as I am aware.

my figures on Powerstation dyno are 464bhp / 394 lbft at 1.5bar

Was the v7 JDM the first to get forged pistons? Am I correct in saying the UK/Euro didnt get them though?

There are a couple out there running in excess of 500bhp on standard internals, and we know there is more to come from mine as only running 1.5bar currently.
