Im looking at getting one of these and wanted to know if anyone else has one.

What I want to know is, Are the screensmade out of glass or they still plastic.

Im not wanting to get one and the screen scratches easyely.

Give it 6 months after the release and they will have a working model that wont turn itself off or keep crashing on you

I like nokia phones (believe it or not!) I even still have my N95 which was one of the first ones (that all sucked as the software was crap and the mic'd died alot) but they normally have issues with the first batch or 2, hopefully it wont be the same with the N97, but you never know, it seems a pretty common thing from them

Dont know about the screen mate, however Orange were meant to release it on Fri, it failed their in house testing and has ben put back. they also told me that it will not be free on contract either,looking at going to the i phone as soon s my pak code arrives.

I do like the I phone but im tied to vodafone for 24 months so thats why I was thinking of buying a N97 on vodafone.

I have one really good and in my opinion nokias are the best on the market for build quality... think its glass as hard but its touch screen so i aint pressing it mega hard to answer your question mate... go look in store and try break theres lol
