Question Looking for a few items any pointers ?

I'm looking for some decent alloy mesh where can I find some to ?
I have some bonnet vents to go on but they came with this awfull small looking cheap mesh and it looks rubbish, I have found a mid size that was annodised black which is just what I am after but it was a large sheet and cost £30 ! in reality 12" x 12" will do more than what I need.

Also I'm looking for 2 lengths of black foam, each 12" long and around 1cm square, ideally sticky back..... this is to go on the rear inside edge of 2 roof vents, one on each. I had to remove it for painting but now need to get them back together.

Any pointers please.

Thanks
Simon

Best I can do for mesh is a 90cm x 30cm sheet for £23. You only really need an off cut for a 12" x 12" piece.

Ripspeed Black Stretch Grid Competition Mesh from Halfords Price £22.99

For the foam I have no idea what they charge for small amounts.

Lynvale Ltd | Expanding Foam Tape |Slitting, Re-Winding, Die Cutting Specialists in all Non Adhesive, Single Sided and Double Sided Foams and Tapes

Simon don't be a skin flint buy in bulk.

Hi Simon,
I bought some Aluminium mesh from Antics model shop that was quite good, cheap but good quality and in a small oblong shape (£4.99 I think). I just painted it black after because it was silver coloured and it looks good.
Also Demon Tweeks do some good foams with sticky backs on them & various sizes. Hope that helps you out, Gareth

Cheers guys

Buy in bulk Eric I'll be able to stop drafts everywhere
I'm sure that's what I was looking at in the mesh as well, pity they don't do smaller amounts it's a bit rich for a pair of vents.

Thanks Gareth... for some reason I always forget about Demon Tweeks I'll have to save the link for them

Pm on the way
