High running temps...
I'm just back from a 60 mile round trip and noticed the oil and water temperatures were much higher than normal
My normal running temps once warmed up are...
Oil - 90-100 degrees (Defi)
Water - around first line (no actual temp shown as it's the standard blob gauge)
Oil pressure was stable for whole trip - ranging between 2-6 bar (Defi)
Now during this trip the water temp went up to just above the 2nd line then dropped back to normal - oil temp was around 100 degrees for the first 30 miles - I wasn't driving hard just normal motorway speeds.
On the way home I noticed the oil temp creeping up, peaking (an holding) at 106 degrees for a good 20 miles - water temp now up to the red line
Obviously I took it very easy all the way home and tried to stay off boost completely.
I sat outside with the car running for 5 mins at home and the temps only started to drop slightly.
I put the heater on full (30) and full fan but no hot air coming out of the vents
Checked in the engine bay and it is a bit wet behind the radiator (possible leak?), I am waiting for the engine to cool down before checking coolant level and oil level.
Any ideas what could be causing this? This is the first time temps have ever been abnormal.
If the rad is leaking is there anything I can do as a quick fix until I can get it look at by someone who knows what they're doing?
Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated
By the way, car is MY03 STi UK.
Cheers,
Steve

if theres no hot air through the heater theres a block in the water system surely unless you havnt got any water in at all ! try the obvious first , water level then thermostat ect.

Checked water level and it's low, going to refill coolant and water.
I suspect there may be a rad leak as well as there is a bit of water on the ground under the front of the car.

Check the dipstick and make sure there's no white sludge, which could show a head gasket issue.
