There's a huge difference in prices between the WR1 and RB320.WR1 start at 11k, RB320 £19k. Both rated at 316ps.

both very close performance wise but the wr1 would be my choice as its a far more unique looking car to the rb320 because of the colour.both are limited editions so will hold their price better too
better still buy mine,it's in the for sale section.it'll leave a standard "1" for dead

i agree mate but some people like the fact that it is a limited edition
hence one of the reasons i bought a p1 over the type r and paid a little for it to. thing is though i pass blob / hawk scoobs all the time and to be honest i dpont pay them much atention but when i see a wr1 or more importantly a rb320 i cant help but check them out.
to the original op, i would not buy a wr1 in std form it would have to have suspension mods such as adjustables and some whiteline gear on it to, take a look at the steve has for sale on here it is a very good spec but if it were me i would have the rb320 due to newer chassis so more r&d time spent on them, the 2.5ltr lump with a few choice mods will produce more power and i dont think i need to say any thing more than its a RB320!!! sexy as hell in my book, one of those along with my current p1 and a 22b would see me a very happy man
best of luck what ever you do i suggest test driving both in std form and see what you think

No, you can get a normal JDM or a Spec-C which is a lightweight more focused version of the JDM,

Offiicial figures have the WR1 quicker than RB320 both 0-60 and 0-100 I think
Both awesome cars, as said before big price difference between the two.
I have a WR1 and love the unique colour but its not to everyones taste.
Drive them both to see, one thing I hate about RB320 is blue carpet, can't believe the didn't change it to grey or something
Leather interior is awesome though.
RB320 will have some warranty which you can then extend if thats important to you. WR1's will be in last year of that if the owner has kept it going beyond the manufacturers period.

the WR1 or RB320 is special becos you think its special. looks no different than the rest, it is just a normal STi with PPP to me, you cant just put a different colour or different wheel and give it a number to called it "special edition"... ..what is that going to make a spec C then?? daddy for all specials?
There is one only true special and to me is going to be the 22B

Yes but there must be something about the engines in P1's as the warranty renewal I got through recently specifically excludeds P1's !!
Wr1 RB320 can be covered.
What do they know that we don't ??

I think it could be down to the age of the car, BMW refused to renew my wife's 52 reg Cooper S, due to the age of the car, not necessary something wrong with it. I could be wrong

Haha, yes...P1's are 9years old!
There is also the matter of bottom end failure that is well documented, in short, due to the fact Ecutek software hadn't yet been developed.
