Had my windscreen replaced yesterday and the underneath the top sill it was rusty. There's also some bubbling on the roof at the top left by the windscreen. The car is only 4 years old so I'm off to the dealer tomorrow to see what they've got to say.

To me the car seems too new to have problems like this. It's a UK MY99 which I've owned from new so there's no question of it's history.

Would be interested to know if anyone else has experienced anything similar and if so, what was done about it?

Cheers
Neil

Neil, keep us informed as it will be interesting to hear what they say about this as quite rightly it is a bit worrying after just 4 years.

is your car always parked outdoors?

I know it's an old message but I have the same problem with a 2003 car. How did you get on with the dealer?

LOL, Until I realised the message was from 2003 I was well confused at how a MY99 could be only 4 years old.

I remember reading a thread on here somewhere recently about an RB5 that was resprayed and one of the things the owner did was to have the front (and rear??) screens removed as it is common for them to rust under there and he wanted the rust there treated before the respray.
