Surely not THE SL2???? is that really you? If it is, I got your Absolute Old Skool Classics CD that you did on Slammin' with Phantasy. Wicked M8!
In case you are interested, My Dream collection includes, The Dream Christmas Party ( all of em, completly wasted & singing To Kylie!), The evening of their Friday 13th party @ Adrenline Village, The last night of broadcast
, and a couple of the Faiz - Swiflee chatshows (Always a laff). Do you know if any of them are still going? I know Sub Zero is still on the circuit as he was at the Innovation D&B special I went to a few weeks ago. Are any of the others still Playing/broadcasting?

SL2 was Slipmatt and Lime.
Name also comes from SL1200 mk2 turntable that is sitting next to my computer.
I don't think the real SL2 would be on a scooby website. or maybe they would, dunno.

i got a ratpack cd a couple of weeks ago called old skool it pretty cool
iv'e also got all of joey beltrams old stuff(belgan tecno)

Boys,
Nice to see some of the old skool boys are on scoobynet! Yeah I kind of thought it would be too good to be true, but it is always nice to talk to people with the same musical taste as me.
Yeah I have heard of raindance at the drome. it aint far from where I work in the city, so I am tempted to go down there. the only thing that puts me off is the 9am finish. I am wasted at 6am but me and my m8 always have to go the distance... Who was playing when you were last there?
Best one I went to was World Dance Phase 7 at the Light House in Docklands. Yes, Ratpack was there & so was Nikky Blackmarket .
Fantastic night.
Last Rave I went to was Innovation Drum & Bass Special @ the The Stratford Rex. That was pretty cool as Dett & Skibbadee were there going at it at the same time, which is always nice.
I am also planning to go to a couple of Illegal ones this summer. They should be excellent.

Was at RAINDANCE in MELTON MOWBRAY New Years Eve 91`92.
Used to be a regualar at SHELLEYS in Longton Stoke.
Been to the amnesia all nighters at Donno.
Was at the WORLD PARTY in Louth Lincoln in 91`.
Another haunt was the ECLIPSE in coventry.
Remember ALTERN 8? Was at shelleys when they filmed a couple of videos.
Nearly 30 now but used to go to about every big allnighter I could,been in some states!!
Dont regret any of it!!

Yeah I was at World dance Phase 2 at the light house & they hadn't really got their act together in time. The Old Skool room was crap & I spent the night in the jungle room. This made phase 7 even better as they really made the effort to improve with a whole warehouse devoted to oldskool. M8, I didn't leave all the room night
I also found my favourite rave drink that night too. its called Raw Spirit mix and is premixed vodka redbull with a nice elderberry flavour. I did 12 bottles when I was at phase 7 and was totally phucked by the end of the night when I go raving I always wear a football shirt with ASTRABOY written on the back. If you see me, come up & say hello. I will make the effort to go the the next Raindance so I might bump into each other. I will also post some obscure reference when I am going to an illegal rave in case you are interested.

Don't understand much of the above, but I did see the Kinks live onstage at the ABC Gloucester (now a pub) just as they released "All day and all of the night".
They were on with the Yardbirds (as support!) and the Ronnettes.
