Having some fun on a round about and ran out of road!!!
Bent the trailing arm, and the lateral links, broke the shock as the pic shows, Bent the drop link, the wheels a write off and the wheel put a nice dent in the rear quarter!
Ive checked the hub and drive shaft and it all seems good thankfully!

New suspension time! Brakes are awesome thanks!

Tha Alcon's are 365mm 6 pot fronts and 343mm 4 pot rears! 3k. Got them from Ears Motorsport.
I was lucky the top bolt held really.
New suspension ordered ... Got to wait 2 weeks .....

not really much help, but **** me how strong are those proper Prodrive alloys? seeing what you've done there you wouldn't have been too surprised to see that alloy smashed to bits!

and who else saw the top pic and thought 'whoops that's a bit of a scuff' then scrolled down a bit and had some sort of swear word pop out?

Thats exactly what I thought! Fair play they're top quality! When I got out to have a look I fully expected it to be smashed!
They come crash tested and highly recomended

Lucky they didn't, as I believe they're cast instead of forged like most other alloys made for prodrive, some more direct contact and force on them and they may have gone the way of most cast alloys in a knock.

Luckily they're decent cast alloys, not one of the many "let's rip popular styles off and call it something else" cast alloy brands

Now thats an expensive mistake,, I like your first sentance saying you ran out of road,,,,
I think you meant that you ran out of talent, LOL

No offence meant by that comment, just made me laugh, Hope you get it sorted mate without too much expense and enjoy the car again,

Loving those brakes,

100% right, flow formed castings are chalk and cheese (literally) to standard cast.

that's a hell of a lot of force transfered to the weaker components there. ok, half inch either way with the impact and it might have been a different story as you say, but that's still mighty impressive

full explanation of flow forming here http://www.speedlinecorse.co.uk/flowforming.htm

LOL,

Definitely a good time to upgrade, There is a saying in motorsport and it goes, "you will never find you or your cars limit untill you go past it"

you can only learn from this, Have you ever done a track day? I'd advise everyone to have ago as you can leearn alot about how your car handles or doeant handle and learn what to do when it does all go wrong,

Listen I'm sorry and to a point I don't mean to cause offence but that is a seriously worrying answer.
Are you under 30 by any chance?
Crashing is not a rite of passage in owning a fast car
