It clips in with extended clips AFAIK. In most cases the grille will install without the need for drilling of body panels & no tools are needed.

Hi there, I got a set of lower grils the other month both fog and middle. The fog light covers are just a straight push in and clip, but a really hard to push into place, while the lower middle grill you remove the number plate , drill three hole in the lower bumper, fit the grill and then put two srews into the top fix in place.
Hope this helps

fitted one to my blob earlier this year, it fitted using long clips, fairly straight-forward to install but needs a bit of elbow grease

I always thought that Zunsport tried wherever possible not to permanently alter the bodywork when fitting their grills. I suppose it depends on which model.

Drilling holes sounds more like how I had to fit my homemade WR1 type grill. But then you can see I love drilling holes.

I have one fitted to my bug.

Had to drill 3 holes in the front bumper to slot the grill into.
