Default JAPSPEED FMIC, ANY GOOD?

I may have got one cheap on ebay, just wondering if they are any good? It comes with the mikalor clamps which is good i suppose.
Ive done a search and from what i gather the pipework on some kits is better than others.
Any experiences welcome!

Ps: its going on a 99 type r if this makes any difference

I saw that intercooler too, was a good price!
As far as i know japspeed are just a supplier, so that intercooler could be anything, i did ask him as i was interested, but got no reply. Could be autobahn, hybrid, ect.

I'd be tempted to stick to known brands personally.

If theres anything amiss with the core or it fails physically the only place for the bits to go will be your engine.

I fitted a japspeed FMIC to a mate's car a few weeks ago, the pipework was terrible the worst i have seen. The pipe to the throttle body and the pipe to the turbo were complete the wrong shape along with most of the clips being the wrong size!

Great! Well its to late now, its on its way. Best case scenario 'it fits and is ok' or worse case it goes back on ebay. Maybe even make a profit!

It was the worse case scenario, the intercooler didnt look too bad but the pipe work looked like it had been welded by chimps Not all bad though, i sold it on for more than i paid for it

There should be no problems whatsoever with the Hybrid if it is fitted properly. Hundreds of people have them and we must average fitting one a week so we know all the little foibles you may come across on differing installations.

I have a Hybrid from Harvey, and it fitted 100%, i would say it fitted better than the old autobahn88 kit i use to have.
