lol! That caliper if the pad covers the same area will melt the disk it's never gonna get any chance to cool.

i remember in max power a few years back, there was an m3 with 2 sets of 6/8 pot calipers per disk, american car i think............

Surely this cannot work:
They must have the heat dissapation not far from that of drum brakes (unless they use water cooling or something).
Inccidentally drum brakes can have awesome stopping power - As I found on the twin leading shoe 109" forward control drums fitting on my 88" Landrover. However as much biting power they have, they are absolutely useless after the third 60-0mph attempt.
