re:https://www.scoobynet.com/private-sa...delivered.html

Dude whats going on with this deal? I havent heard from you in nearly a week - ie no replies to my pms but u were logged in yesterday morning.

I just rang you tonight on your mobile number and you answerd but then couldnt hear me but i could hear you - whats the problem m8 - either send me the lcd screen as agreed or refund my £30 asap as your starting to annoy me now. then when i tried to ring you immediately after it went straight to answer machine - not good enough m8 - this is not the way to do business.

Mate if youve got his home address, go round and pay the **** a visit. I'm sick of this crap on scnet, scamming pr1ck5. I sent a pm about a tmic, to a guy in NI (THEN NOTICED HIS ONLY 2 POSTS WERE ON THE FOR SALE FORUM) he sent me back a pm about paying him via non paypal and wouldnt send me any photos of the tmic. Paddy i dont think so. Robl hope you get your money back or its time to start a refund squad. Surely scnet can do a policy where you can only buy FOR SALE items, via paypal or the likes. COME ON ADMIN WAKE UP TO THIS CANCER.

unfortunatley i don't have his home address just his name, bank details & mobile number. his profile says portsmouth but i don't how true that is.

It just really p*sses me off that he doesnt have the decency to lmk whats going on.

Ive sent his 3 or 4 pms on snet over the last week without a reply so started to think something was off and then in his profile he was logged in yesterday morning so started thinking why hasnt he replied so i gave his mobile a ring this afternoon and it went straight to anwser machine.

So tonight i rang him again and withheld my number and what a surprise he answered but he mysteriously couldnt hear me (yeah right) and hung up. so i immediately rang again and it went straight to answer machine.

I bet he,d be the first one to kick up a stink if he had the same treatment....i have had only one dealing with someone of this calibre on ebay....and fortunately not on here....and he was a complete Knobend who would have suffered if i could have met him face to face.

hope you get it sorted mate......

thx for the input guys, it just annoys me the way some people do deals especially on a car enthusiast site like this one.

well heres his profile (not much info on it though) - https://www.scoobynet.com/member.php?u=61743

his actual real name in the main title of the thread but i don't want to post up his bank details just now as i'm still hoping we can sort it out.

cossie-nutter - pm sent.

Morning chaps, I've been away on a course my better half was supposed to have taken care of this for me, she uses my PC and we use firebox which sometimes prompts to open tabs last used, turns out this may have happened so any Scoobynet activity wasn't my doing, I've Pm'd rob letting him know this will be getting top priority please don't tar me with this brush I treat people how I like to be treated myself and greatly enjoy and rely on this site for technical and general Subaru marque appreciation - this is not my style I have sold a few odds and sods recently (sony mobile) and I hope the members will pipe up and vouch for me, I'm not one so to speak crap on my own doorstep and Like to contribute and give something back to this community site rather than use it for just selling things as so many other do -

if its any consolation I couldn't hear the voice on the phone whizzing back from the airport last night in the taxi (you all know my Scooby's dead at the moment) - hence why I just turned the thing off as its so frustration for both people - the initial delay was the banks funds transfer took place over the easter holiday (4days) meaning a massive wait for funds to arrive in our current account - I hope this clears things up

Regards

Thank you Olly good to see you reply with a nice genuine reason.

As you can tell there has been allot of issues with people selling and buying stuff and being scammed!

Please accept my apologies from above as you have come back on here to put it straight!

Would be nice if this could be deleted as it's a misunderstanding! Admin, Mod's ?

I think it should be left up as an example of how a misunderstanding can be resolved easily.

I'm inclined to agree. Oh, and we've yet to hear from the OP to say that he is satisifed that it's been sorted.

This is why it is important to give people a chance before everyone starts coming on here berating them and assuming there has been a rip off.

We do have the itrader system on SN now, I would encourage everyone who buys and sells stuff on here to use it!

Over reaction from the OP and the band wagon jumpers really ought to be ashamed of themselves passing judgement without any facts.

it was not a over reaction by myself if you had read this thread properly.

-------

also i'd left a message on his answer phone on tuesday with a contact number after 7 days with no replies to my pms on here so what more could i do but post a thread and what a surprise i get a reply next day.

hes send me a pm today saying hes going to sort it - so i'm unsure if thats means my money back or hes sending the lcd.

Definitely not an over reaction.... quite a normal reaction considering the circumstances.

I had the same problem, when someone was 'desperate' to buy a part i was selling (not desperate enough to offer what i wanted for it tho' ) ...accused me of ignoring his pm's & had clocked that i'd been online & got all shirty via a pm! ...refused to sell it to the **** in the end

I'm sure it will be delivered soon, I mean, who would bother trying to scam someone for a measly £30?

anyone have any ideas what could be the fault?

Morning,

Whats the latest, sorry I've been away for the bank holiday - Did you try on another machine, did you press the auto button initally - that adjusts it all for 1st time useage - I packed it so carfeully with the cushions and put fragile markings over the box, was the box damaged on arrival? - I think we could have a case for compensation if this is the case and is covered for £50

Regards

In all it doesn't sound good. I hope there is a resolution for this. Though a compensation claim against Royal Mail would benefit both parties right? Hmm.
