Looking to change from DC5
Hi ALL,
Well due to a bad error of judgement on my part I was tricked out of my money via a nasty scam aka relationship Never a good time to have a property with an ex that's worth nowhere near what you borrowed.
It's a long story and I dont think changing the name of the owner will save me from being forced to part with the teg. It's a white 51 plate, black refurbed standard wheels, full c pack (s200 start button, folding elec mirrors, dipped glass), k-pro, apexi n1 exhaust, buddyclub club carbon bonnet, spoon braces and all sorts of car candy all over it but as said I need to let the toy go.
I have 2k to find a basic wrx and with all the mods sold off the teg I'll have about £1500 to plough into mods. The teg rolling roaded at 200bhp at the wheels so I would like to get something similar from new car. Always had a love of scoobs so it's a scoob or s14.
I've never owned a turbo before as I've always owned type r's but although running costs will be higher at least power mods should be a hell of alot cheaper.
Any tips or advice welcome

True, but you always end up changing parts yourself and that's the fun part for me. Besides there is a reason why the car must be around that value as that's all I'm allowed :0( Having big debt isnt good

If you're in debt already, I wouldn't be looking to take on a thirsty car that's as expensive to insure as an Impreza. I also wouldn't touch a £2k car with a long pole, at that price it's likely to have serious mechanical problems or accident damage. *Much* better IMHO to save up for a while then get a car that's already in good condition. You might even find it has some of the mods you'd have wanted already.
