I think that there are two of us owners here, I think it is a great alround car although at a price. On hindsight I prob should have gone with a premuim euro import with the litchfield performance pack and T20 suspension setup for about the same money list or a bit more or gone the whole hog with a Type 20.
My 330's now has a CAIK and full Type 20 suspension/chassis setup with 384bhp and 394 lbs (thanks JGM) and is a monster which is a joy to drive around the corners.

mmmm still toying with the idea? Thing is you can get a euro import Sti with exactly the same spec without the PPP but for £7k less? Any thoughts folks

Hi
I've got a Euro STI

Yes you'll save 7K, but you'll have to get a tracker fitted, buy locking wheel nuts, wait 4 to 8 weeks for your owner manual and service book, have it inspected by the DVLA and finally find a subaru dealer who will do the ECU update under warranty before the engine blows up.

My local Subaru Dealer (Chandlers Grantham) which I've used for all my past servicing have been very helpful and are updating my ECU next week along with the 1000 mile service

It's a good car, still needs some work, but it's a good car...

The 330S is basically a UK STI with the PPP fitted and some other bits.

I looked at one, but was not really bothered about the keyless go, recaro's (my big **** does not like them!) and other bits.

I have a secondhand MY08 UK STI (bought with 3K miles on the clock for a bargain price) to which I have done the following:

1. Full sports cat Milltek system, panel filter and re-map making 340/345 (I am keeping it under 350 on purpose, but could easily go out to 360/400 with a CAI and re-map)
2. 18" Prodrive Wheels and Goodyear F1's
3. Eibach lowering springs, full whiteline parts list (ALK, ARBs etc. etc.) and alignment
4. Modified steering rack and power steering pump
5. Kenwood double din sat-nav, JL amps and component speakers/sub

And even with all this, it still cost less than a new 330S, just a thought...

Saving up at the mo for some decent coilovers & a twinscroll turbo/headers conversion.

For future tuning potential (around 400/400 on standard internals) the 2.0 Twinscroll JDM model is the car to go for if you can afford it mate

Where did you purchase your Euro STi then mate? Most of the ones ive looked at new come with Sat Tracking, cat 1 alarm imob? locking nuts not a prob? Why have the DVLA got to inspect it? As long as you have your certificate of conformity etc it should be fne?

The DVLA don't inspect cars coming from other EU countries, in fact the DVLA don't inspect any cars it falls under the umbrella of VOSA.

Hi, got it from Motor Depot, Defiantly did not have a tracker installed but there ad said it did, so always check. DVLA inspect it and stamp the certificate of conformity.
