will this engine fit?
hi i M PUTTING A NEW ENGINE IN MY UK TURBO 2000 DUE TO PISTONS GOIN SO JUST GOIN TO REPLACE ENGINE, WILL A ENGINE FIT STRAIGHT IN OUT OF A K REG IMPREZA ?

the engine has sold now 
my car is a version 5 turbo 2000 1999 v reg and pistons have gone so i am replacing the engine say i was putting a sti engine in would i have to change the loom or would the loom plug straight into sti ecu?

If you're planning on putting an old WRX/STi engine into a my99-00 car, I'd suggest calling a specialists to see what the craic is myself. There is a reason they changed the layout over the years...

the OP hasn't mentioned anywhere about fitting a sti engine with its ancillaries, so my original post stands correct.
