Having read all the reviews about these bulbs.I ordered some last week in H4 fittment
until today I was using 80/100 "Elta" bulbs. My new bulbs arrived today. I have fitted them and tried them on a normal route that I would use at this time of night. Yes I am impressed. It is a "whiter" type of light.Considering that they are 60/55 . "Phillips" claim of up to 50% seems spot on.

The company that sells them are "Regal Auto Bulbs Ltd" on 01233860638 . £20.50 for a pair posted (H4). They do most fittings.

Question

Are there any problems with fitting higher wattage/power bulbs - such as heat and higher current?

Reflector type and cable. Would suggest use of relay kit to get more power to bulb.

I have gone down to 55/60 's from80/100's remember and the light is better for driving.

Be lucky

The new Legacy B4 and GTB have gas discharge bulbs. Very crisp, very clean, very expensive. One headlight at Subaru NZ price is the equivilant of £752.00!!!!

I don't wanna break one.....

I bought a set of these from Revolution, they came with headlight & matching sidelight bulbs for £24.99.

Fitted them and they're good, sidelights don't seem to be as bright as the headlights.
must be something to do with the lenses.

I have also just bought a set of these -- £16.50 from Fosmo Lamps (headlights only). I think they're amazing, but that could just be because I cleaned the headlamps at the same time as fitting them.
