Black STI7 pics please
#1
I am in quite a pleasant dilemma, I can't decide over the colour of my new STI. I think I'd prefer black, but I haven't seen any yet. Could anyone post some pics of a black STI? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

It's all personal opinion of course, but that said, I really think a) the blue-black is a wonderful colour and b) it suits the WRX/STi7 very well, more than any other color. Dunno why.

I was in the same dileamor before last weekend, when I went for a Sti7 test drive. Luckily my dealer, Lancasters of Pangbourne, had WR Blue and Blue/black Prodrive Style versions in stock, so I could make a direct comparison.
In my opinion WR blue looks by far the better. The blue/black with a light film of dirt looks drab, whereas the WR blue just sparkles. Blue/black may look good when clean, but you will have to wash it every week to keep it looking good - note that my previous car was black. Another consideration is that any aftermarket body modifications are more likely to be available in WR blue. Needless to say, I have ordered WR blue.
Incidently, my dealer reckons that the Prodrive style version is also available in silver by speical order. However, you would probably have to wait to the end of the year for it.

That's odd.. I noticed the sticker price on that car is.. 27,495 pounds.. which is equal to $75,120AU.. and yet.. the STi sells for $55kAU in Australia..
wonder why it costs so much more..

Well, gues what Sti costs in our car taxation hell, Finland?
50,630 pounds (83.000€) !!!
My WRX costs 37,900 pounds... unbelievable!
Our only comfort is that insurance is low bracause of low crime rate. I pay 300 pounds a year! Not comforting enough though
