if the price keeps droipping like it has been give it 2 years it'll be down to 3995 lol

i think they were brought in using a loophole, which has now been shut so theres no way to get it regestered

I'm with you there, Its one of my dream garage cars. That an an NB-r, But I am a bugeye geek. (bugeye model, I dont have bugeyes)

Surely in a couple of years time it'll be over 10 years old and an SVA does not apply? Simply needs an MOT then right?

That's not the way to do things. And with the new SVA system in place I doubt it.

I thought someone said there was a new rule coming in that allows you to register the car without the model report if the car had been registered for a period longer than 6 months in the original country.

I am also digging into this legislation but it's too complicated for me to understand... FYI: Individual Vehicle Approval Inspection Manuals I'm on the M1 manual (282 pages), page 20 mentioned what you said. It's pretty much a DRAFT (rev2?) although the legislation has already come into force...
