Default I have an sti at last!!

Well I just got back from a 400mile round trip to pick up my new scooby.

SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI 2004 ONLY 30K on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 17-Mar-09 12:04:00 GMT)

I got her for £7500 which I think is good , she drives mint as a new car almost. Mint body work , mint interior. She needs a service and tyres , also a spare key so hence the price I guess. Always glad to have low miles though. Alot of car for the money.

Just wanted to say thanks lads for the advice , no questions have gone un answered.

Oh by the way there will be 100's more questions

Ben

As long as its not on the register as a cat D etc then I wouldnt be bothered, Most older Impreza's ive seen have had some paint in there life, even if its over fussy owners having front bumpers and bonnets sprayed to get rid of stonechips, I had a few cars sprayed to get rid of stonechip in the past!!!

Had one bloke view my old Evo 7 and walk away because I has the bumpers front and rear resprayed to get rid of stonechips and a slight scuff, he said that he would rather have bought the car with the stonechips!!!

Looks like it might have been had a wee respray on the front if there are no stone chips, also no STi stickers on the fog covers, so it could have just been sprayed to look mint.

Nice car BTW, enjoy it

Well had a reallclose up and yes bumper has been sprayed and the wing bonnet must have been too, looks like it may have had a shunt , I dont think the bumper is fitted quite right will have a better look tomorrow.

When do I need to use the old intercooler spray ?

Also noticed a slight not knock but more of a creeking from the o/s rear shocker area , any ideas?

IC spray is pretty much a gimmick, never used mine.
Rear shockers knocking is a common problem so they will need replacing, no idea of cost as mine were done under warranty.

Has it had its 30k service as this is an expensive one, around 350 quid.

Looking at the pictures the front wheels appear to be pointing straight ahead but the internal shot shows the steering wheel turning slightly, is this the case?

If all ok, enjoy.

Nik.
