will i need to change anything
am looking to get new boots for the car. want some OZ Crono HT in black, as far as i know i have currently 17*7.5. i'm being offered 17*8.
knowing that the 8 is diameter. if i were to purchase these would i need to get new rubber also, oor would the rubber on the 17*7.5's fit to the 17*8?
cheers

Not quite, I think you would need 225/45/17, as +/- 1/2" is fine, but recommended rim width for your tyres is 7" already !

P.S. When you change the summer tyres you should go up to 235/45/17 ?

Cheers Dunx, have to check the summer wheel size, which means wading out in the snow; summer tires are also 215/45/17
the reply i got from performance alloys was:
Hi
What size tyre do you have? If it is something like 215 or 225 width then they will fit either the 7.5” or 8” wheel
Delivery is free through the Finland version of our website.
I would recommend the OZ Ultraleggera in matt graphite silver, it is quite a dark finish.
