I am also waiting on a reply to an email. It sometimes takes him a day or two to respond. I don't think many people have much success with the phone as he is normally out mapping.

A customer is customer and being super busy is not a good enough reason, to not get back to someone.

Come on it takes all of 30 seconds to acknowledge someone and let them know you have received their query.

He's a one man band though, being booked up months in advanced probably means he's getting dozens of enquiries a day.

As said, he is a one man band.
Having said that take the following example.
Andy came to Northern Ireland last year and my car was one of many that were remapped.

He forbids anyone to be near the car with a mobile when he's downloading maps

Now, apart from that single reason.
My remap took approx 2 hours - imagine how pissed off I'd be if he was on the phone every 10 minutes talking to one of you boys

He literally finished my car, had a cup of coffee or tea and started on another.

He's a very busy man and busy is good in my book - in high demand.

He got back to me on 2 occaisions I emailed.
Put something sensible in the subject.

I was referring to emails in particular not mobile calls, as that would be quite rude in anyones book

Hey guys, sorry for the delays with emails, currently receiving around 20-30 enquiries per day just now, I'm about 5 days behind with them so if you sent before that then maybe it got caught in the junk filter. Just send again if you can please.

Banny, if the emails could be answered in 30 seconds I'd be a happy man ! Despite my best efforts to put as much info as possible on my website I still get a large number of very detailed emails which require a lengthy reply. I reply in date order generally so they do start to stack up, particularly when i try to get a few hours in the evenings to work on my own car !!

cheers

Andy
