Exclamation Cheap Cat d P1?? Too cheap to be good?

Subaru : Subaru Impreza P1

Emailed him about swapping it for my 182..

Renault : 2004 Renault Sport Clio 182 with both Cup Packs

Thing is i don't mind owning a CAT D car at the end of the day...AND if it's had a rebuild it's even better

BUT is it too good to be true?? I have a scooby specialist near me to get it checked over if i need to but what do you guys think??

Alan

It does seem cheap, but imo so is yours, that's a lot of car for little money, I have had a cat d 911 (recently sold) with no problems in the 3 years I had it, insurance companies right cars off for no good reason these days.

I didnt read the description first but noticed the osf light and wing are not very well matched, and the bonnet isnt perfect either (colour doesnt match very well) so if i can spot those from a picture without reading the description, i would hate to see it in real life

He might just need a cheaper car and is desperate to sell, car prices are all over the shop on piston heads

I was kinda hoping you would be online Tony .....

I did notice the crap colour matching looks to me just the bonnet though?? I don't think the way it's shot does it any favours though? Might not be that noticable in real life? Hopefully lol

Best thing to do is go and see it, late afternoon is good then in the early evening you can get him to park it under one of those lights, that should show up all the paint defects but you may be better looking for a good one without accident damage though the price is tempting, it may cost a little to sort out, oh and also check out the boot shot....
