basky RA,,, joined in feb 09,,,, asking about a roof scoop

now why does that sound like ive seen this before ????

I think he possibly means the vortex generator (as found on the Evo)?

If so... No is my opinion

the little fins on the rear to take away the turbulent air and air it for the rear spoiler,,,, its a good idea thats proven to work in cars,,,, though just bolting one on a car may make it worse,,,, and worse than that will make you look like you wanted a evo but couldnt afford one/ wouldnt pay the extra cash ( which is really why we all drive impreza's but wont admit it )

unless its set up it for the job aerodynamics can be about as much use as coilovers for the school run in central london ( though again thats what my scoobie is also used for pmsl)

but i got an evo with a vortex
affording a car with one is not problem!

its the way it looks, i think the vortex obv works but it would also need a spoiler to have it aimed at otherwise the clean air dont go anywhere usefull

have seen em on classics and they look ok . not my cup of tea though

Its okay, but ideally for the newer modelled cars, new generation 7/8/9 evo's and the sti7 onwards scoobies.
