Default putting ecu back to standard....

hi

quick question, i am putting my car back to standard to sell and obviously want to remove the apexi power fc and commander. once i have removed all uprated parts can i literally just unplug the apexi and plug back in the standard ecu?

is it just a case of pulling out the big plug and putting the standard ecu back in its place?

thanks for your help

what year and is it a uk or import?

if an import it will plug straight back in with no issue.

if a uk and 93~96 then it will plug straight in no issue.

if uk and 97/98 it needs wiring changes, is uk and 99 or 00 then it also needs wiring changes

Happy to explain further if you say what year etc

no problem with april/may at the moment.

right then you need to swap two pins (cam and rank sensors) and move the fuel pump pin.

on my website I have the pinout diagrams

the cam and the crank signal wires need swapping (B136 8 and 10) and the fuel pump pin moving between B137 7 and 17 (I cannot remember off the top of my head if uk is 7 and jap 17 or other way around but you will find it in 7 or 17 and you just move it to the other)

Or drop me a PM and I'll call in and swap it for you..

Simon
