Question How Many ONE Owner Classics Left?

Especially originals and UK Cars?

Must be increasing in value quite substantially now?

I don't think any nine-year-old Subarus are increasing in value at the moment, Pete. Especially when 16-year old fresh imports with only 60,000 miles on them can be picked up for a song, these days.

I'd think they would be opening up more of a gap from the junk out there...but nothing spectacular in the current climate surely?

I would hazard a guess that a One Owner UK Unmolested Classic with a folder of impeccable History would be one of the most desirable of all Imprezas?

I presume we are not counting wagons as they never fetch as much as saloons!

On the contrary, Wagons get the nod .... less likely to be modified, more likely to be cherished and faster, of course - due the the better rear road holding

EVERY Chav has a Saloon ..... none have Wagons

Not as desireable as a one owner classic sti type R or RA or V-Limited with all the history, of which there are several already here and often available at Japanese auctions, check Bonsaicars.com. UK Subaru's are generally boring, let's get real and honest. (Yes, I have has a few UK cars, also a JDM which was so much better it was like a different car). I am not referring to modded examples which can all be exciting, irrespective of where they originate from. Who wants a 215 bhp in a car that was originally designed for 280 bhp, but because we here in Britain for many years have been accepting 2nd best, along comes a 215 bhp UK classic, minus all the very things it SHOULD have, and we're supposed to say 'wow, what a car?'

Desireable Imprezas, in my humble opinion: (Must have fully documented history)

RB 320
RB 5
STI TYPE R
STI TYPE RA
STI V-Limited
Spec C
S 202, 203, 204
TYPE RA-R
P1
22B
WR 1
STI JDM only bugeye, blobeye, hawkeye

Unmolested P1 with 30K been in the family since new (being that I bought it off my old man a couple of years ago that's 2owners but still.....lol)

And 1st UK owner of Grade 5 Imported 22B :-) last month
That doesn't really count tho I guess.........

On the look out for an original condition Series McRae too- can't be many of them left knocking about!
