Default Realised i had no mot ,Thank god it passed

Was looking through the paperwork for my car and realised my mot had expired by a month .called my local mot station and they took it in right away . Illegal number plates ( guy was ok with it jut had to buy a standard set to keep in the car). And a split steering rack boot (waiting delivery but temporarily repaired split one for time being).

So got it passed and the car was commented on for being in such good order for a 1999

i think depends who you go to..

UK spec cars need cats, whereas i think you can get away de-catted with an import model.

My sister-in-laws car had expired by about 6-months. They discovered this just before her son crashed it.

Fortunately he is a mechanic and was driving it on the garage policy to it's MOT
