Default Version 9 sti 2.5 help please.

Hi guys, im quite new to the forum and looking for some help

I have owned my new car now for a week this being it:
https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...e-hawkeye.html

At the moment its very standard apart from a group N back box, just wondered how tuneable the 2.5 sti's are???
What kind of power could I expect from a few mods like remap filter and full 3" including dcat.

Also do I just have to look at version 9 parts or will version 7/8 2.0 parts fit?

Thanks

Shane.

i was advised 370/380 bhp by 420 lbs torque with those mods of course. try adding a 3 port boost solenoid to help control boost till redline
the problem you'll find is that the pistons are the limiting factor

Depend how much you want to spend. Ive seen some with up-rated pistons, rods, turbo ect up around the 550bhp mark. Should be able to run about 350-370bhp with no trouble

No mate, TBH that was more than I was expecting to hear just from a few mods.

Thumbs up

I'm running 360/380 on mine but not changed the turbo as I want to do the internals before I push it past the 400 mark just to be safe. Looking for about 450/450, so would also uprate the clutch and Flywheel but still want to keep the TMIC.

PS your car is a MY06 STi not a Version 9

PPS The Exhaust lengths on the MY06-MY07 Sti are different lengths to the MY01-MY05 so if you are buying from someone it will have to be a full system from Turbo back as the down pipes are different lengths.

PPPS You deffinately have the best colour, but I am biased
