Default Battery Impact wrenches

Anybody got or used a cheap battery impact wrench i.e machinemart one or ebay ones?

Clarke CIR24 - 24v Cordless Impact Wrench - Machine Mart

Just wondering as I have a Air Impact wrench and compressor but was looking for something that i can use anywhere.
I have borrowed off my mate a Snap On Battery impact wrench and its ace, probably better than my air one!

wondering if the clarke ones are any good?

cheers

I have had a few cheap 1's in the past and were ALL crap then I decided enough was enough and then brought a Sealey Cordless Impact Wrench 19.2V 1/2"Sq Drive Super Torque Control 400lb.ft

I only paid £200 for mine off Ebay but this is a guide line link

Never let me down yet and proper got a punch to it! I have used both Snap On and this and tbh they are as good as each other IMHO!

I have the Clarke one. Brilliant for wheel changes at track days. Good for about 150 ft-lb so will undo properly torqued nuts but won't undo overtightened or seized nuts where I resort to a bar and 4 lb club hammer. Don't know how long battery will last per charge as I keep it topped up, will do at least 2 complete wheel changes at track with plenty of grunt left.

Its funny you should mention the dewalt one as i was just looking at that, can get them for aroun £200.

Might be worth seeing if i can pick up a second hand Snap On one in good condition as i know what these are like!
