as in i got climate on the scooby, if i remove the aircon can i still set the inside temp or will that not work, i aint that fussed about the actual aircon part,, it never worked if im honest and now i need a new condenser im thinkng of binning it and fitting a front feed manifold and front mount

anyone got ideas at all ???

what wont work, will it not regulate the fan speeds for the temp

as said i aint fussed about the actually aircon part of it just dont wanna have to spend ages playing about with hot/cold all the time on drives, nothing worse than being cooked then being frozen 5 mins later

When I considered removing the aircon, as I understand it (and I could be wrong) you can regulate the 'heat' in say cold weather, but in the summer you will just blow warm air or warmer air. Much like in older cars pre aircon.

My MY97 STI had the aircon removed and the climate still worked up to the required temp

Well if you remove the aircon it isn’t going to blow ice cold air is it
It will just blow as cold as the air is but yes the fans/sensors work the same.
