I think the Scoob would have won this if it hadn't been on the standard brake setup - i.e couple of hard stops then no brakes.
Like the JDM Integra Type R though..

I love the Best Motoring series (or it may be Hot Version). They always do these time attack vids and they are great. Seeing inside the cars and the heel toe stuff is good as well as hearing the comments
Check out some of the ones on a Touge track with race spec modified cars - they are awesome!
The whole point of them is the cars are as standard so - the car you would get when you buy it new - then they see how well they perform against each other. But you are right that just the brakes would have made the difference.
I was impressed with the CTR effort tho. Not that surprised about the Integra as it supposed to be a sporty car whereas the Impreza is a 4 door saloon
As is the Lexus.
