prev damaged
is it recorded on the hit list as a cat c or d?? if so it will make a big difference to value and if it is recorded if you ever need to make a insurance claim they will only give you 50% of its value
how much r they asking for it??

18" wheels and Sony Xplod speakers, gearbox is knackered and its been crashed ? sounds suspiciously like a boy racers car that has been thrashed.

Wouldnt want to give more than £1000, and to be honest would walk away and find another car as there are plenty out there.

Very difficult to say without pics, doubt it's worth more than £1500, and to be fair by the time you have spent the cash it needs, you could have a decent one anyway

The "2nd gear needs attention" part may work out to be a little bit expensive so would expect it not to be worth much as it can end up a major job, and does it have service history or any kind of documentation?

Very similar spec to mine (mine's not previously damaged though, and has lots of history). I paid £3500 2 months ago.
