Default Probably a silly question

A mate of mine has just bought his first scooby, its an 05 GX Sport, was wondering if the backbox i took of MY05 WRX would fit onto his car?,not sure what make it is,it was on when i bought it. I know its not a standard backbox as its got a 4" tailpipe.

it should be a straight swap. I know that an aftermarket exhaust of a classic wrx would fit a classic sport.

What do you mean by bigger ?

Is the bore larger or are the bolt holes in the wrong place ?

This thread may help you Turbo Back Box Fitment on a Sport - .:ImprezaSport.net Forums:.

I have a spare adaptor but it is Stainless Steel and your not going to be able to weld that onto a mild steel pipe

This takes it from turbo diameter to the n/a diameter

I've just given him the centre section from my old exhaust,he'll see if that will help. He does work at a tyre/exhaust place,so he knows more than me
