Silly question :
My rear wiper on has 1 setting, ie on all the time. This is quite annoying as you need to be in torrential rain or it squeaks as it isnt getting enough rain on it...
Has anyone fixed this problem with a kit for example ?
Thanks in advance,
Andyp

Thumbs up

I'd be interested in the answer to this one too - I can't believe my 5-door does not have intermittant rear wipe!

I know that a kit was/is available cos I knew someone who fitted it to
their Mini. Dunno where from though.
Sorry, that doesn't help much does it!

Question

I guess all this *should* be in the electrical forum, but what the hey!

Can you offer some advice slippyr4? How do you install that bit of kit - just in line on the wire to the wiper? Do you need to do anything to the std rear wiper switch?

Cheers,

Stephen

Most interesting. Any techy chaps actually install this, let us all know how hard or easy it was.

This really is very easy. The maplin kit makes it even easier...

If anyone wants a hand with this, and lives near bedford, email me and i'll give you a hand.
