Default Well the GT4 has gone!!!

Sold my GT4 today so i'm officially on the hunt for an STI

Was a weird morning got a phone call from a Finnish mobile number this morning asking if I could meet him at Newcastle train station before 3.00 today.

Expecting to be mugged or ripped off I took my brother with me. Turns out these guys are Import Car dealers in Finland, checked out their website and phoned the number and all checks out fine.

Anyway to cut a long story short I got £3650 for the car, in cash (and its real haha) so i'm on the lookout for an STI, hopefully a bit cheaper than that cos I need cash for insurance.

+1.

Nothing worse than getting a wrong 'un. Get a good Subaru, and you'll love it. End up with a bad one and say goodbye to the contents of your wallet.

agree, make sure you look at plenty. there are too many dogs about these days with no service history and poor mods ready to go bang.

Well i've seen a few that I want to go and take a look at this weekend. Here they are:

1996 N Reg SUBARU IMPREZA 2.0 WRX STI V3 Version 3 on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 19-Jan-09 14:02:25 GMT)

1997 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI VERSION 4 BLACK MODIFIED on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 28-Jan-09 21:38:16 GMT)

You reckon they are both work a look? First one looks a nice clean example!

Got mine, 63k miles FSH std 98 v4 for 3150. Dont know if the market has picked up a little by now. I did get a steal tho... THat one does look quite nice, would think 3.5?

Looks good. I went for a totally std one cos ive been burnt on modded cars before.

Its the v4 too. I chose v4 as the inside and outside has some tweaks which i preferred.

Can't seem to find specs anywhere for them. Does the STI RA (1996) have redtop engine? Stereo? What brakes?

Hi Baz - Just in case you were still interested in that Black STI thought you'd like to know there should be quite a bit of room for bartering as it was one I got outbid on in the last few seconds on ebay in December:

SUBARU IMPREZA STI on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 30-Nov-08 16:50:28 GMT)
