50k miles or 5 years
The price above sounds ok but be prepared for the possibility of a new tensioner and maybe an idler (or two!)

It's 5 years or 50k miles, I had the service & cambelt changed, also needed a new tensioner. Cost £385 from specialist.

would anybody actually pay £506 for scoobyclinic most expensive service, i wouldnt all the bits needed would cost £150, £200 if you feel the need to replace your panel filter with a k&n or simaler . and there is nothing that cant easily be done yourself

Yes that includes the service, not too bad for a main dealer I thought it would be more. It means still keep the dealer stamp in the service book as well

Don't forget, a service by a VAT registered specialist using genuine Subaru parts, is warrenty friendly (although yours is out of warrenty) and most on here would be happier to see a known specialist stamp rather than a dealers! It could save you a few bob, if you have a specialist nearby.

Thumbs up cambelt change

just had a phone call of wendy from scoobyworld quoting £175 with genuine subaru cambelt or £155 without genuine one, also an extra £80 to a £100 with a tensioner supplied good quotes. surprised at the amount of people who havent replied to emails requesting quotes

i had a shock when mine went for a belt change. was quoted 160 for just a belt. ended up having a belt, tentioner and idler (plus adjust handbrake and flush rad) cost £530!! and that was without changing the other two idlers which had a bit of play/noise. So be prepared if you need a tentioner

50k or 5 years as mentioned. £320 from a Subaru independant specialist for mine, which included full service and VAT. Didn't need the idlers of tensioner.
