Not a great deal to be honest. Most people replace them. The cat is probably the most useful part as a lot of people with decats want these for MOT time if they haven't retained theirs for whatever reason. Not sure on price but not a great deal.

The backbox may be good for a WRX owner or someone wanting to go back to standard.

The centre pipe... worthless really. Maybe £20 each or something along those lines. A few people have gave this sort of stuff away free over on TTS though.

I can comment on a Newage STI exhaust system as I sold one on Ebay.

I got £80 for the down pipe cat and £30 for the centre and b/b combined.

The guy that bought them wanted them for scrap, that was his business and I quizzed him about the scrap value and he explained that there is some very precious metals inside the cats that he melts down and sells.

Must have been early last year as scrap isn't worth anything now.

When I tried to sell mine (original STi taken off when cat free system installed), general opinion was that it's worthless. Gave mine away for free when I sold the car

As above poster says, may get interest from peeps with catless exhausts come MOT time - £50?

TX.

I sold my cat'd downpipe for £25 and had to scrap the centre and backbox, as no-one would even take them for free.

I did well then.

It was around May/June last year when I sold them.
