Hi, and welcome!
I've had three adults in the back many times, the Impreza's really quite roomy. The impreza's a good all rounder.

Scooby is a great family car mate, as above the only way I got to have one, well 4 or 5 door anyway. Plenty of room in the back

true there are places not to buy from as in every town but a 200 mile radius ha ha

if u go to look at any car and u go with ur eyes wide open and take sumbody with u that knows what they are looking for there are bargains to be had .

Chap i work with went to buy this Auto Trader UK - SUBARU IMPREZA 2.0 WRX STi V4 555 V- Limited Type RA 532/555 last summer , paid a hefty deposit and then spent 2 months listening to excuses as to why the car wouldn't be ready , it would seem they became very uninterested after the deposit was paid.It then took another month to get the deposit back.

We then went to another trader in the area and found another Impreza that he wanted , a deal was done against his very well sorted IS 200 and not a good deal in my opinion and then more problems started. The Impreza started to have a few problems after a couple of days ( water loss) spoke to the trader who was just not interested at all , wouldn't return any calls and when we went up to see him he refused to speak to us telling him it was his fault ect ect. Then after all that he gets a call from the trader complaining that the IS he traded in was a "shed" and that HE had been ripped off!!

In the end he decided to sort the Impreza him self and put it down to a bad experience.

I fit 3 kids 8,7 and 5 in my Blobeye, no problem or moaning from the back seat. A car of that era will only have 2x point seat belts, the center is only a lap belt. I sold my Classic for that reason when number 3 came along

I have a 2003 car and i would say it depends on your kids really, my daughter and sons recaros take up so much room that there isnt enough space for anyone in the middle. If your kids are tall enough not to require a booster seat or other saftey seat then 3 in the back isn't a problem.

is everyone really small ?

the interior space is shockingly small- as is rear seat space/leg room.

I have to slide my seats forward to accommodate adults in the back, making driving annoying when that happens. I'm only 5.11" too.

wouldn't have said its any use as a family car for 3 kids.

Those two places arent the same but having been to both I'd say they are as bad as each other.
Three adults in the back of a scooby is doable but I dunno how small you would have to be to describe it as comfy? Sitting in the middle is far from comfy! Speaking from experince I would of said 2 child seats (with kids fitted) and a pram and a buggy are a **** fit in a saloon, even better in a wagon. I dunno if I would want another kid sitting in the middle aswell though.

Get a Forester, much more room in the back, like Impreza's from 2001 with 3x3 point, but even then you will struggle for space once you have 2 kiddies seats in there.
