I love white cars and have owned 19, but they are a pain to keep clean - they do look good when clean thought.
Worst one for me was following a RS Turbo in my Renault 19 16v and his engine let go covering my nice shiny white car in Oil! took me ages to clean it off.

I've had three white cars. First one died when it had a high speed snog with a lamp post. Second one was taken roughly from the rear by a cortina and put me in a neck collar for several months. Third I killed because it was a Rover Montego estate given to me as a company car when the fleet department decided to make some cut backs.
I now have a black car. It still looks as dirty as a white car....

yeah thats the car i wasted about 50 hours welding the inner wing holes up, painting, polishing and about 10 coats of laquer, wasted 10k on the engine and getting loads and loads of parts made for it for getting it back on the road with all new ford parts ect,,, then some tosser lifts it whilst i wait for the turbo housing to be polished as the guy took 3 months to do it
yes its a sore point that car !!!
i never drank, went out or done anything to get that car the way i wanted it,,such a waste of 2 years of my life !!!
