Whats your approximate mileage?
just wondering
I normally cover 200 - 250 roughly a week in my non turbo. sometimes more
what do you guys do?? would the running costs of a 1995 wrx be too expensive (service interval, oil change etc) for this kind of mileage??? i want some turbo now

I'm 19 and owned a sport for a year (sold it last month ) and I used to do around 500miles a week. I was in the car 24/7 lol but now that i've got my wrx type-ra I've definately cut down, I'm doing around 150-200 miles now.
I'd say the only difference is the fuel costs. Servicing and parts are cheaper IMO because there so many turbo's around and not many sport so parts are readily avaliable
Get a turbo mate, you won't regret it. There cheap as chips now aswell

I use my STi as the daily driver, Does about 20k a year. It is probably more expensive than I think but seen as its all I know now it doesnt bother me.
If you look at the costs on paper I dont think anyone would ever use a scoob as a daily. You will make it work when you get one, like we all do somehow.
When you way the cost against the pleasure of driving scoobs it all seems worth it anyway.

40 miles a day commuting so roughly 9k a year and another say 6k for weekends, holidays, etc. So 15k a year.
Don't own a Scoob though, and if I did now it would be for weekends

I bought 1st impreza in july this year -- had 96K on the clock
now has 111k -- i think i do about 800 miles a week, but its all work related so paid for by my company
I was getting 350/70 out of a tank
but that project has stopped so prob back to 2 - 400 miles
