well my Scoob only does around a 1000k per year on average so I think I can put up with that, plus my anti-lag has just got to be heard.....

I know what your saying though guy's.....but hell if you've gotta a flat four then its got to be heard...within moderation....

Guys,

I post this up on another thread on saturday.

https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...ml#post8362393

That was reeved up to approx 2700 - 2800rpm . That's the FULL RCM Team Ice but with sports cat. Non res centre.

When I drive on the motorway keeping it at around 3000-3400rpm its sounds really nice. Anything over that hell breaks loose.

TBH I think these systems sound the best on Classics but thats my opinion. At chap over on Surrey has the full system with decat and runs ALS. The words bonkers spring to mind.

I'd dread to think dear boy.

I've heard this on one classic only. FULL decat with ALS. It truley is the mother of all systems in my eyes. The words ANIMAL spring to mind.

I think personally the RCM welds are really good. It all mates together like a jigsaw and looks tidy under the car too.

I have had both a full rcm system on my type r as well as a blitz nur spec r modified to give 3" all through and i can quite honestly say the blitz is a much better system for performance of the vehicle.

The quality of the rcm was fantastic.

HOWEVER be prepared for been stopped very frequently by the police and having complaints from the neigbourhood not only to you but the police/council etc.

You will NOT be able to do a track day with this system on.

As i say i have ran a magnex full system, rcm 3" straight through system and a modified blitz and the blitz won hands down

Mines coming this week, I'll post up a vid once it's done. I have ported headers and a full 3" system from turbo with no resonator and antilag so it should be pretty loud.

It does sound awesome at first however the time will come when you will wish you had a different system on

This system is ridiculously loud even at tickover, on full chat my car could be heard over 3 miles away. I think sounds very raspy not the full burble you receive with other systems.

The Blitz is LOUD but a nice loud if you know what i mean. The reason people think the Nur Spec is common is solely because many people use it as it is one of the better systems on the market.

I also now own a R33 GTR and i will be fiting a Nur Spec R to this solely due to my experience with it on the Subaru and also on a friends Evo6

I use earplugs anyway as I have no interior trim so I'm OK with it being loud, and I only use the now and then so noise/comfort is not and issue.

Well it arrived this morning and I happened to be working from home so I took my lappy outside so I could be contacted and started to fab it all up. The team Ice was a little longer than my old back box so I had to do a cut and shut job.

All in all it took me about and hour to mod and fit. It's very very loud. I did a quick vid but it was getting late and I live on a small cul d sac full of old people. I'll do another vid at weekend, but you get the idea...it's LOUD.

Before

Quick cut:

Offered it up:

Flange tacked into place

Finished job

Quick vid, I switched the AL on but did not dare rev it.
