HELP !!!, how do i take rear seats out

Default HELP !!!, how do i take rear seats out

hi, trying to fit my rear shox,,,,,, cant get the reat seat out or the parcel shelf,,,, is the top bolted in or somthing,, dont wanna force it as i wish to keep rear seats !

please someone help me, tommorow i need it done before i go away

what year is it mate ,not sure about the rest but i know on my 03 wrx i had to undo the two fixing bolts on the bottom of the seat where your calfs would be if you were sat on it , once this is done you can sort of un-hook the bottom part of the seat which will then uncover 3 iirc more bolts that hold the upright/back of the seat in place , again once these are done you then just un-hook the back part , it might need a bit of a jiggle if its the first time they've ever been removed ,

mines a 87 V3 sti,,,,,,, never thought about taking out the lower bench part first tbh, if noone else has a idea then thats what im gonna try next,,,, then is the grinder and 2 seat rally car look

Two bolts on front of rear bench (holding wire straps hanging down from the front), undo these and it will lift out exposing 3 bolts at bottom of rear seat back. Undo these and lift the rear seat back up and it will detach and voila!!

ITS COLD OUTSIDE BUT IM TEMPTED TO POP OUT AND LOOK,, ( soz caps)

its still very cold though

God even I didn't have trouble taking the seats out, and I'm a mong. Nice one ginge!

its all about knowing where to look, all the cars ive worked on have had folding seats so its **** easy,,,,, and im looking there for the bolts to undo

just looking in the wrong place,,,,,, iroinc i have trouble doing this yet ive managed to polybish the car, change the front shocls, rockercover gasket and relocat the heater controls

i do feel a mong now
