Exclamation

On the weekend I drove over to Adelaide (Australia) to have a look around at the 4, 6 and Rotary Nationals. Whilst there I took a couple of happy snaps which I've thrown online for people to have a look at. (And have to admit that I prefer the Adelaide attitude to the Melb/Syd attitude which is focused more on performance than "ricing" up your car) Does anyone happen to know how the "SLY STI" numberplate on the black 2002 STi was painted gold to match the wheels? The effect looks really good and wouldnt mind knowing how it was achieved. (No doubt it's illegal, but interested none the less)

Simply go here:

and click on:

"20020217 - 4, 6 and Rotary Nationals"

Also included in the photo album is numerous photos of Bakker Arja's gold WRX which has done many passes of 10.0? (146mph) and seems destined to break into the 9s. Whilst there has been a WRX run faster in Oz, it's currently not around anymore, which makes Bakker Arja's the fastest still racing. Anyone know of anything faster I'd love to know about it. (Pics 100-0080_IMG.JPG -> 100-0085_IMG.JPG, & 101-0158_IMG.JPG... there's also a fair few of it launching)

Regards,

Gerrod

Question

I presume your silence means that you don't have anything quicker in Britan/Europe/USA?
