can anyone explain what these stats stand for on my01 wrxppp RR results
#1
HI
been to RR and don't understand the figs i got
or what they relate to
norm power 236 to DIN 70020
engine output 236
wheel output 155,5
drag output 80.5
torque at 75mph or 4170 rpm
max speed 117 mph
max rpm 6460 rpm
temp 23
1 bar boost as well
Does this mean my01 wrxppp is not performing well and need the ppp looked at as i have not a clue on stats,
cheers

This is Sunday morning & I imagine some peeps are either in bed, going karting/meets or other bits!
Bearing in mind that some RRs are more generous/mean than others, it would look like you've got roughly 236 bhp & roughly the same torque. This would be in line with the 10% hike in power/torque that PPP gives you, but a bit conservative.
Q. Normal Unleaded or Super? If NU, then about right, if Super/Optimax, then a bit low IMHO.
How many miles? If <5000 then engine is likely not to have loosened up yet. Temp of 23 is quite warm & that affects air-pressure & combustability etc.
Output at the wheels is 155bhp with a transmission loss of c.80 bhp or 1/3rd Thats AWD for you though.
Thats a few answers/guides. Other than the ul/super q & miles on clock, its about right/expected for a PPP on an accurate RR. Which RR?
It's damsight better than standard WRX I bet

cheers ptmw
RR was in chesterfield, optimax, 7k on the clock.
tgi filter .
did expect more though, switching to super unleaded rather than optimax to see if makes a dif.
thought imho quote 242bhp (with super) and 260 torque, my01ppp seems low to me.

Just read other thread on MY01 PPPs
RR is probably the reason if everybody was getting readings of that sort on the same vehicle spec.
PE's is known as "generous" in its figures (most are) which leads to all the BS figures. People believe what they want to hear about their P&J
F/I PTMW! before PPP had 234bhp & 235ft/lb on NUL NFW!!!!
(That wasn't PE but Superchips)
Sounds like either a very accurate RR or slightly under.
Also 7k may not be enough smiles to have really loosened up the engine. Depends on driving style etc.
I wouldn't be too concerned, but you can look into the restrictor thingy.
