Thumbs up

Hmmm...A 2.6 litre stroker kit.

Sounds expensive though.

Weird power curve - what kind of car produces 80bhp at 50mph (80km/h) but 550bhp at 70mph (110km/h)? Makes no sense...

Also, this is 551bhp at the wheels which means what, around 700bhp at the flywheel?

Richard

Cool

Nice figures. Apparently he runs on NF booster too, but I'm sure Dingy will confirm this soon

Edited to add, Richard is right, it is apparently over 700bhp+ at the fly, and with standard cams apparently

Two years ago they had the fastest impreza in the country (with around 400 bhp). They sure know how to tune them and break unbrakeable dog boxes.

OMG!

http://www.rigoliracing.com.au/whitewrx.htm

1/4 mile 10.02 @143 mph 491 bhp at the wheels from a 2.2 engine!

surely these are rebuilt after every power run/pass ?

Guys..

How they do it is simple... fit a massive turbo..something like a t60/70... four massive injectors... and wack up the boost.

I believe they virtually rebuild it after each main event they do.

They had problems with the gaskets going, and various other bits.

Their actual car is fully stripped for dragging, they run it with no exhaust.. no air filter.. fully stripped interior...everything removed to save weight.

I'm sure if someone over here wanted 800bhp... it could easily be done.. but who wants the hassle of rebuilding it every other week ?

Is that not the ultimate Q car. Looks completely kak, but no doubt goes like the brown smelly stuff off a tree.

No, that title belongs to the old Hyundai Coupe they have in development - they're sticking a 4wd and turbo mechanicals from a Subaru into it
