Ive bought cars and ran them for a couple of years for 3800 quid
Get rid, its not worth the money, something you could do better with (shares etc over 3-4 years then take em out and buy something you want then )

yeah, 3800 is crazy money, there again if you need the car to get birds thats an obvious downside to getting rid (not trying to be harsh, being honest) and really you'll probably be fine without it on that score anyways.
There again tho what do you earn, if you earn enough why not?? but then i guesss you wouldn't be asking the question in that case. If it were me instead of spending 3800 then maybe 3000, 2600, xxxx over the next few insuring a scoob spend it going on some interesting holidays around the world, you can go a long way on that cash and get a lot of experiences rather than just visiting filling stations, and you can take the bird with you!
shares and stuff, you arn't going to see stunning returns on that amount of money, but you can do a lot with it other than buying insurance.

Only you can decide that one.... I wouldn't pay £3800 a year for car insurance, but then I haven't traveled around the world either !
Good luck choosing !

well its simple isn't it, if you can afford it then keep it. Maybe depends on the definition, if that moneys no issue then keep it, if you can 'technically' afford it but its a lot of money for you which 3800 is for most people on a car at 19 then get rid, you are going to be paying high insurance for ages.
Saying 'i don't know if i want to' is to me more like saying 'really i can't afford to keep spending money like that'
There again as to what else to get, i don't know, i never bothered to look at hot hatches as i had a lupo 1.0 until i could afford a decent scooby, hot hatches are to me a pointless filler between having an asthmatic shed and a proper car, just my opinion tho, sure others will disagree
And probably not much help nor what you were looking for, sorry!
