£1150. Turbo back. Custom-made. Meerkat.

I'm sure Frayz paid a small islands debt for his.

Others i'd of gone for would be either a titanium or a buddy club, and i doubt those will get you much change from £1500.

That's excluding the headers/manifold. That's just a turbo-back exhaust. Their snakehead manifold is a good piece of kit, IIRC about £450-550.

So it would get closer to 2k for the whole setup.

You enjoying it? Any vids with sound?

Lateral ceramic coated headers are around £800 and an APS 3" system around £750 so I would pay £1550 if I had that much lying around.

How can spending over 1k on an exhaust be justified?

I paid 90 quid for my used 3" down pipe, 25 quid for the 3" centre system and 100 quid for a used scoobymania 3" stainless backbox I removed the bend so the system is nearly dead straight and a true 3".

Throw in a harvey Smith uppipe and ported headers and some uprated mounts...job done.

How can a 1500 quid system give more more power than my budget one ???

Yes, love it. Wife hates it, but she uses with a bung.

You can specifiy style, volume, everything. You can see how straight the pipe is, with a dragger-style exit, that's the only silencer in the pipe.

when i use to have my old nur spec exhaust, it use to pop and bang on the standard ecu, and after mapping it lost it, but i think it can be added in by the mapper, or if you have a apexi commander, you can play around with it to do the pops etc

In my case yes. I had a full afterburner decat with ninja backbox previously and that used to pop and occassionally bang.

Its an awesome piece of kit 3" pulse extraction exhaust system + 100 cell anti-lagg sports cat £1700 supplied only...

Ive had a few subarus lol with many many different exhaust systems, this is the piece of kit i would buy if i wanted to spend the money again.

Not to loud but loud enough, pops and bangs on over run and passes mot near enough straight from down pipe to back box 2 slip joints with 2 springs attactched takes 5 mins max to take off whole system....

Here is the link mate ..

Amazing! Is that how restrictive the original Subaru parts are?

The exhaust in the bottom picture is awesome.

The Simspon on mine was just over £1600 from the turbo back.

Lightweight .06mm stainless, only one join with a V-band, 2 repackable race silencers and only 91.5dB @ 4500rpm static.

Worth every single penny IMO.

Just for your info, my manifold is a ceramic coated GTspec Gen 2 jobbie.
